Tarique Rahman Urges Building a Safe Bangladesh at Maiden Meeting After Returning Home

Bangladesh, Dec 25, 2025:

Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the BNP, said that the people of Bangladesh want to regain their right to speak.

He added that the people want to receive their rightful share according to their abilities. “Today, our time has come to build the country together,” he said.

He made these remarks during a reception event held on Thursday (December 25) afternoon at the 300 Feet Road in Dhaka.

Tarique Rahman took the stage at 3:50 pm and began his speech at 3:57 pm. He started by saying, “Beloved Bangladesh.”

He then greeted the nation and expressed gratitude to Rabbul Alamin, saying that by His blessings he has returned to the motherland.

“Our beloved motherland was achieved through the sacrifice of millions of martyrs,” he added.

Tarique Rahman said that the BNP aims to build a safe Bangladesh. “Together, we will build a Bangladesh where the dream of a mother can be realized. In other words, we want to create a safe Bangladesh where any woman, man, or child—no matter who they are—can leave their home safely and, Insha’Allah, return safely,” he said.
