Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Asaduzzaman has stressed the need for greater public participation to ensure sustainable development in Jhenaidah, saying progress depends on proper planning and cooperation from all sections of society.
He made the remarks on Sunday at a memorial program held at the Shailkupa Upazila Parishad auditorium, organised to honour the late teachers of Shailkupa Government College.
Opening his speech with a firm message, the minister said, “We are not here to sell illusions of heaven,” while underscoring the principle of equality and highlighting the equal contributions of men and women to global progress.
Remembering Distinguished Educators
The programme also featured the unveiling of a commemorative publication dedicated to their legacy. The event was arranged by the Shailkupa Nagorik Committee (Shailkupa Citizens Committee).
