Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed heartfelt greetings to Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message, Modi said, “On behalf of the Government and people of India, I extend warm greetings to you and the brotherly people of Bangladesh on the joyous festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.”
Highlighting the significance of Ramadan, he noted that Muslims in India and across the world spent the past month in fasting, prayer, and reflection. “The festival of Eid reminds us of the enduring values of compassion, brotherhood, and unity,” Modi added.
The Indian premier also expressed hopes for continued peace, harmony, and prosperity in the region. “We pray for the well-being and happiness of people worldwide and hope that the friendship and cooperation between India and Bangladesh continue to strengthen,” he said.
This gesture reflects the ongoing diplomatic goodwill between the two neighboring countries, reinforcing cultural and political ties during a time of global celebrations.
